Moutanabi Trading Enterprises Company (MTEC) Was established in Homs - Syria in 1965 as a pioneering venture for the supply of Ironmongery, Hardware Products , Industrial Tools & Products for Building Industry.
Its early lead has since been maintained & enlarged as the company grew from strength to strength with an eventual turning point in 1990 towards a well established wholesaler business enterprise .
In 2025, the company steps another milestone to meet the reconstruction needs of Syrian cities and factories, MTEC has signed a strategic partnership agreement with the Italian MEKTILES Group, a leader in the construction and green energy sectors, manufacturing production lines for the food and ceramic industries, and establishing cement factories.
